Apple will unveil the iPad 2 tomorrow in San Francisco. The new iPad 2 is expected to feature two cameras for FaceTime, faster CPU, better GPU, more RAM and thinner body. Apple is likely supporting Verizon with a CDMA enabled iPad 2. For more details on what to expect from the iPad 2 refer to our comprehensive iPad 2 Rumor and Prediction Round-up.
Besides the iPad 2 another question is swirling around Apple fanboys. Will Steve Jobs attend the event or not? BoomTown reports that Steve Jobs, who is on medical leave, is thinking about attending the iPad event.
I do not think it is necessary for Jobs to appear at the event. It just raises again attention about his health and the future of Apple.
In any case I am excited to see the new iPad. I hope it will ship within days as another recent rumor suggested.
