MSI Outs Wind Top AE2050 AIO Computer

New all-in-one breaks cover

MSI has announced a new AIO computer that looks pretty darn cool. The AIO uses an AMD E-350 dual core processor running at 1.6GHz and runs Windows 7. The AIO is one of the more popular desktop categories on the market today and sells well for both the consumer and business market.

The AE2050 has a 20-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900 and uses a discrete AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics card and has a 500GB HDD. The AIO has 2GB of DDR3 RAM and even packs in a USB 3.0 port. The RAM inside the computer can be expanded to 4GB with a pair of RAM slots inside.

MSI offers an optional multitouch panel upgrade for the unit and it has a tray load Super Multi DVD drive. A pair of 3W speakers are integrated for stereo sound and the machine has both wired and wireless network access. WiFi is 802.11b/g/n and the machine has no Bluetooth support built in. In addition to that USB 3.0 port I mentioned the AIO also has four USB 2.0 ports and a memory card reader integrated.

It has no eSATA port, which is too bad if you have storage solutions that lack USB 3.0 but offer eSATA connectivity. An integrated 0.3MP webcam allows for video conferencing and chatting and the machine can be fitted with an optional TV tuner. The machine has those four USB ports, but it uses a wired USB mouse and keyboard so you will lose one or two of those ports to your accessories. The AIO measures in at 513.2 x 392.1 x 92.2mm and weighs 6.8kg.
