We do not expect to see any new Apple hardware unveiled at the WWDC 2011, but the software rules anyway. The WWDC 2011 tickets are sold out now. Apple announced the WWDC 2011 details and launched tickets sales yesterday. It took less than a day to sell all available tickets.
Apple will evangelize and educate developers on the future of iOS and OS X at the WWDC 2011. There will be more than 100 technical sessions and over 1,000 Apple engineers will be at hand to provide code-level assistance. This year Apple is set to unveil tons of new software features and the fabled iTunes cloud service. Now that Amazon has launched a music cloud service Apple is pressured to top it in terms of usability and coolness.
Usually Apple has some new hardware to unveil at the WWDC, but this year rumors see new the new iPhone and other new Apple gear pushed to a fall release. I do not care about other gear, but I would like to have a new iPhone 5 in June. My 3GS is gettin' old.
If you are a game developer you need to clone yourself. The E3 2011 is held during the time of the WWDC 2011. The E3 Expo is held in LA again.
