For many years, the only color you could get in TVs was black or possibly silver. There are many people that are as concerned about style of their electronics as they are performance. Luckily, you can get some sets today that look good and perform well too. Many of those stylish TVs are from Sceptre and the company has a new offering for you to check out today.
The new set is a 32-inch 1080p full HD offering that is LED backlit and has a very cool style. The TV has brushed nickel accents for good looks and the stand is made from tempered glass. Tempered glass is like the glass a car uses that if broken makes little pieces that won't cut like normal glass will. The new set is a part of the Sceptre Galaxy series.
The TV is thin so it will take up little space at about an inch thick at its thinnest point and 1.82" thick at its thickest. The 1920 x 1080 resolution will work well for 1080p Blu-ray HD content as well as HD flicks from your cable or satellite provider.
“Sceptre is constantly exploring and inventing ways to blend functionality, affordability and style to satisfy the evolving consumer demands,” said Cathy Chou, Vice President of Operations, Sceptre. “We introduced different designs and styles to give the consumers an option to step away from the ordinary and now we are giving them the ability to take a step further into the designer realm.”
The TVs have nice connectivity with three HDMI ports and the tempered glass stand is beveled and swivels for easy positioning. The contrast ratio is 50,000:1 dynamic and the integrated stereo speakers each have 9W of power and a 7-band EQ. The TV comes in brushed nickel with black accents, black with nickel brushed accents, and pink with nickel accents. You can get the sets online and in retail stores right now for $499.99.
