Specifications

The Moshi iVisor AG is a film that you can stick to the front of you iPhone and the advanced protection set I have also included a sheet to protect the rear of the iPhone 4 too. The films have a black border around them to blend in with the iPhone 4 surface and will protect from scratches. The film is available now for $24.95.

In Use

The thing I like best about the Moshi iVisor AG is that it is so easy to put on. The film is a little more ridged than the typical screen film and that extra bit of firmness makes the film easy to grip and install. I was able to install the film in only a few seconds the first time out and it sticks firmly and zero air bubbles were caught under the film.

That air bubble bit is a big deal. For a long time I refused to use screen protection films that were ridged at all because they tended to peel away from the screen of the iPhone leaving bubbles that bothered me when I was using the iPhone. This film doesn't have an air bubble issue at all.

I also like that the Moshi iVisor AG is matte finished. That matte finish helps to reduce the glare that I encounter when using my iPhone for video watching in most environments. Another nice thing about the Moshi iVisor AG is that if you get the film positioned incorrectly you can peel it off and reapply it without any issues at all.

You can even peel the film away and wash it then reapply. That is a very nice feature to have if you drop the film while trying to apply or end up with dirt under the film when applied. The film for the front of the phone is matte clear in the middle and along the bottom and top is black areas that are exactly like the iPhone 4.

The back protection film applies the same way and has the same features as the front film. The difference is that the back film is all black and has a small round cutout around the Apple logo and around the camera. The only downside about the front film is that the cutouts for the speaker and sensor openings are just about the exact size of the openings so you have to position the film carefully to avoid covering them.

Verdict

Pros

  • Easy install
  • Looks good
  • Matte finish

Cons

  • Sensor cutouts are a tight fit

Conclusion

The Moshi iVisor AG is a great set of protection films that is easy to install and looks good too.
