Sanyo has offered its cool Eneloop rechargeable battery and other gear in the line for a long time now. The company has announced that it has a new portable charger for the Eneloop line. The new charger is the Eneloop Mobile Booster, also known as the KBC-L2 rechargeable battery pack.
The little battery pack is small at roughly half the size of an iPhone and will work with several different mobile devices. The battery pack is available already and will sell for $79.99. It provides up to 240 minutes of power and has a capacity of 5000mAh.
"We've all become accustomed to carrying some sort of mobile device with us whether it's a tablet, smart phone, or a music device. Now we can use them more confidently knowing we have portable, convenient power for those devices," said Tom Van Voy, General Manager of the Digital Solutions Division for SANYO North America. "The SANYO mobile booster is easy to use and it's portable enough to take with you anywhere."
The battery pack has a pair of USB outputs and can power two different devices at the same time. The device will power your device if the devices batteries are drained and it can charge the battery of your device if partially drained.
If you connect two devices each will get 500mA of power with a single device getting twice that much power. It is only offered in white and you can order it right now. It will work with any device that uses a USB cable to charge. The only downside to devices like this is that you have to keep a charge cable with you to juice them back up.
