Reports about Apple launching the white iPhone 4 by the end of April have intensified over the last days. It looks like we are really seeing the white iPhone 4 after 10 month long wait. Bloomberg reports that a unidentified source told them that Apple will release the white iPhone 4 on AT&T and Verizon still this month. Apple's Phil Schiller tweeted recently that the white iPhone 4 will be available this Spring. And now the WSJ chimes in reported that Apple confirmed to them that the white iPhone 4 launches in Spring. "Spring" is of course still a vague timeframe. All points to an April release, but it could also be May or even June.
With the iPhone 5 release being put by recent rumors earliest in Fall, the next "new" iPhone is the white iPhone 4. Some Apple fans hope that the white iPhone 4 would actually offer something more than just the color white. How about more speed with the incorporation of the new A5 CPU found in the iPad 2.
The white iPhone 4 got delayed many times last year, but now it seems Apple is really going to release it. Below we look back at the 10 month history of the white iPhone 4 and its many delays. We will update this list with what happens next.
