The Rogue 2 has a light output of 100 lumens or ten lumens. It will run three hours on high setting and 72 hours on low setting. The light is 6.5 inches long and weighs 5.8 ounces. It is also waterproof in up to 1 meter of water and runs off two AA batteries. The bulb is a pair of LEDs.
I have looked at a bunch of different flashlights in the past and they were all cool enough. I really liked the Rogue 2 when it showed up though. My test unit is a green anodized finish and it is awesome to behold. You can get the light in black and a nickel finish too, but the coolest is certainly, the green. It has a design with a barrel that is carved out of aluminum around the battery chamber making for a very open design.
The surface of the flashlight is textured for a good grip even if your hands are wet or sweaty. The cool thing about the LEDs used in the light is that they never need replacing. All you need to do is keep batteries in the Rogue 2 and you will have light forever.
I really like the design of this flashlight making it look as good as it functions. The 100-lumen brightness is very bright. It will have you seeing stars if you shine it in your eyes and the light is very white, not a sickly yellow like some flashlights.
The low setting is much dimmer than the high setting, but greatly extends the run time of the light according to the maker. The Rogue 2 also comes with a wrist strap that can be attached to a longer strap for wearing the Rogue 2 around your neck. This allows you to keep the light on you if you are hiking or moving around at night without worrying you will drop it.
The only things that could possibly be a negative on this light is the price, it sells for a bit over $50 on Amazon but it is the coolest flashlight I have ever used. The other issue is that the light is round and has no exposed switches on the side since the on/off is on the rear of the light. That means it rolls like crazy when you set it on a table or desk. Attaching the wrist strap will solve that rolling issue though.
The Rogue 2 is a great flashlight with loads of style and lots of brightness.
