Today Asus is probably more known for its line of notebook computers and netbooks. The company also has a cool new line of tablets as well that have been getting a lot of attention. For years, the company was better known for its computer hardware like video cards and motherboards.
Asus is one of the biggest vendors out there for mainboards and other computer hardware. The company has long been on the computer hardware business and is a favorite among enthusiasts and gamers for their high-end offerings that look good and perform well too. Asus has pulled a new mainboard out of the shadows called the Rampage Black Edition.
The new mainboard is all black with a black PCB, a black heat spreader and RAM sockets that are black or gray the overall effect is very cool and would look great inside a computer case with a window. The new mainboard falls into the Republic of Gamers brand and is aimed right at the gaming enthusiast. The board has all sorts of features that will make it very appealing to the gamer.
It has four x16 PCIe slots for video cards spaced to allow better cooling. It has USB 3.0, SATA 6G, eSATA, Bluetooth and integrated 802.11n WiFi. The main board also includes a Gigabit LAN port and a Bigfoot Networks Killer NIC LAN technology to make for better online gaming for players. The mainboard runs the Intel X58/ICH10 R chipset. It has Xonar Audio Design and lots more features. At this point pricing and availability aren't known.
