Today I am looking at the cool SuperTooth Buddy hands free car kit for Mobile phones. If you drive a car that lacks an integrated hands free system and you need one for your state or community the SuperTooth Buddy is a great option. Read on for all of the details.
The SuperTooth Buddy is a visor mounting hands free kit that easily pairs to any Bluetooth capable phone. It supports multipoint so you can pair it with two phones at one time. It also needs no installation to work. The rechargeable battery is good for 20 hours of talk and 1000 hours of standby. You can buy the SuperTooth Buddy now.
When the SuperTooth Buddy showed up at my house, I pulled it out of the package and charged it up. Pairing it to my iPhone was very easy and needed no code. You just hold down the multifunction green power button until it goes into pairing mode and then put the iPhone into discovery mode and the pairing was automatic. I really like that when I leave the car my iPhone will automatically pair again when I come back.
The SuperTooth Buddy clips to the visor of my car with a little metal clip that is almost too tight to fit the visors on my 2012 Mustang. Once the clip was on the SuperTooth Buddy sticks to that metal clip with a powerful magnet on the back. The cool part about that clip method is that if you need to take the SuperTooth Buddy out of your car to charge you don't have to fight the clip again.
The Buddy comes with a USB charging cable and a car DC outlet adapter that will charge it in your car when you need to. Using the SuperTooth Buddy is very easy. When you receive a call, all you need to do is press the green multi function button to answer or end the call. The only downside is that the SuperTooth Buddy doesn't read the caller ID info so you don’t know who is calling unless you look at your phone.
The device does support voice calling with my iPhone 4. All I need to do is press the call button and it will activate voice control then I can just tell the thing who to dial based on how they are entered into my iPhone address book. The voice dialing feature works very well even inside my noisy car.
The audio quality of the SuperTooth Buddy is very good. You can clearly hear the person you are speaking too and they can hear you. in fact, I had the speaker on the SuperTooth Buddy turned up all the way and it was so loud while driving that I had to turn it down some. The people on the other end of my calls had no idea I was using a speakerphone, the system works very well.
The SuperTooth Buddy is a very nice hands free kit that supports voice dialing on compatible phones. It’s easy to use and has great audio quality.
