This week Apple launched the white iPhone 4 and next week we expect the updated 2011 iMac. Today more evidence appeared that this will indeed happen on Tuesday. The UK Apple Store has (via 9to5Mac) now a 2 day shipping delay on all iMac models. As today is Friday they would ship on Tuesday. The US and the German store are still on 24 hour shipping for all iMac models.
It look like the royal wedding island ran out already of current iMac stock.
The new 2011 iMacs are expected to have Sandy Bridge CPUs like the latest MacBook Pros and the new Thunderbolt port. The update likely also features new GPUs and new storage configuration options.
The 2010 iMac comes in 21.5 and 27-inch screen sizes. Available CPU choices include Intel Core i3, i5 and i7. Maximum storage is a combination of 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD. the entry model starts at $1,199.
