Over the past couple of weeks we have reported on rumors that Apple will refresh the iMac line. As Apple introduced the white iPhone 4 last week everything now points to the release of the 2011 iMac tomorrow.
There is no confirmation that the new iMac is coming tomorrow. The iMac is still shipping from the Apple Store in the US within 24 hours. The only shortage that can be taken as confirmation of tomorrow's update was spotted in the UK last week.
There are only two things that are taken for certain that Apple will change in the new iMac. The 2011 iMac will get the latest Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs and the high-speed Thunderbolt port. Apple could surprise us with some new storage options and screen sizes. I at least hope Apple can get the prices down for SDD and at the same time offer larger SSD storage options. Once you go SSD there is no turning back.
If Apple indeed launches the new iMacs tomorrow then sometime during the night the Apple Store will go offline for maintenance. We will keep an eye on it and update you on the developments.
Update 05/03/11:
