HTC EVO 3D can be pre-ordered already at Best Buy

HTC has unveiled an exciting new Android smartphone called the HTC EVO 3D. The HTC EVO 3D features a 4.3-inch 3D display that does not require glasses to see the 3D effect. It also sports a 3D video camera on the back. The release of the HTC EVO 3D is expected this Summer. AndroidCentral got their hands on an internal Best Buy document that says that the HTC EVO 3D can already be pre-ordered. Best Buy is not marketing this though. You will need to ask. There is no pricing available yet.

The HTC EVO 3D is of course Sprint bound and supports 4G WiMAX. The HTC EVO 3D is powered by a 1.2GHZ Snapdragon CPU and runs Android 2.3 with HTC Sense. Other features of the HTC EVO 3G include 3GB eMMC/ 1GB RAM, GPS, two 5MP cameras in the back, 1.3MP camera in the front, Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi 802.11n, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.

It remains to be seen how well the 3D works on the HTC EVO 3D and if this is really a feature consumers want on their phones.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
