NEC has unveiled a new commercial grade LCD screen that has a giant 65-inch screen. The screen also has speakers integrated as well and it is called the V651. The large screen is equipped with a panel designed to stand up to public display with tech to protect it from permanent image retention also known as burn-in.
The screen has a full selection of inputs behind it that will allow it to be connected to most source devices. Connectivity includes VGA, BNC, composite, S-video, DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI-D. The screen also has audio inputs and a stereo mini jack.
Supported resolution for the screen is up to 1920 x 1080 making it full HD compatible. The contrast ratio is 5000:1 and the viewing angles are 178-degrees vertically and horizontally. The refresh rate is 60Hz and the screen has a 8ms response time. the integrated sound system has 10W per channel. The V651 will ship in June for $5,299.
My Take: the V651 will be a great screen for any business that needs a large screen with ample sound to entertain or inform customers.
