Microsoft makes it very easy for Students to benefit from the free Xbox 360 offer.
Last week we reported that Microsoft is offering an interesting Back To SchoolDeal. Starting May 22nd, students buying a new Windows 7 Computer priced at $699 or more will also get a freeXbox 360 4GB console. At the time we posted the initial report the details of the deal were not ready. Now Microsoft has posted the details on their Windows Facebook Page. Let's skip making fun of Microsoft for having to use Facebook. To get the free Xbox 360 4GB (a $199.99 value) you just need your .edu email address to purchase a Windows 7 PC online at participating retailers.
You can get the Microsoft Back to School 2011 deal at BestBuy, HP, Dell and the Microsoft Store. A student ID is required when you shop at a Best Buy or Microsoft Store in your local mall.
In case you do not want a free Xbox 360, Microsoft also has a 10% off promotion for college students and high school seniors. You can get all the details and links to participating stores on the Windows Facebook page.
The Apple Back To School 2011 deal is expected to be unveiled this week. Maybe Apple will up their deal because of Microsoft's hot free Xbox back to school promotion.

Kim Kardashian Leaked Photos Backlash
We have a new celebrity nude photo scandal this weekend. A hacker has published nude photos of Kim Kardashian and others on 4Chan. The internet seems though to have no sympathies for Kim Kardashian's violation of privacy.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
