Sony announced two new VAIO laptops today. The new S Series laptop packs performance in a thin and light design. An optional sheet battery extends the battery life to 15 hours. The S Series models sport elegant design in burnished brown, jet black or platinum silver with magnesium and aluminum materials, and incorporate a built-in lithium polymer battery. The 0.95-inch VAIO S can be feature up to a Core i7 CPU and AMD Radeon HD 6630 1GB Hybrid Graphics card.
The VAIO S Series laptops are available for pre-sale today on SonyStyle starting at about $1,350, and the optional sheet battery at about $150.
Sony also launched the VAIO F series laptop today. This laptop packs the power and state-of-the-art performance of a full-sized PC into a portable design. Features include 16.4-inch widescreen display, NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M 1GB Graphics card, Intel Core i7, up to 750GB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium. The Sony VAIO F starts at $1,100 on SonyStyle.
