Today Verizon launches four new smartphones. You could already order these phones online, but today all four are available in Verizon Stores. The four new Verizon Wireless phones are actually all pretty interesting and very diverse. You got a new high-end Android phone with the Droid X2 from Motorola. The so called Playstation Phone from Son Ericsson offers Sony style gaming on Android. The HTC Trophy is the first Windows Phone 7 device from Verizon and the Revolution by LG is an Android phone with media ambitions.
The new Verizon Phones at a glance:
The Motorola Droid X2 features a dual-core 1Ghz CPU and a large 4.3-inch scratch-resistant and anti-reflective qHD display.
Powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY will come pre-loaded with seven game titles and is a Verizon exclusive for limited time.
The HTC Trophy is aimed at Xbox Live users, but of course supports all other Windows Phone 7 features.
The entertainment focused Revolution by LG is the first Android smartphone preloaded with the Netflix application, allowing Netflix subscribers access to movies and television shows.
For special deals on the new Verizon phones check out the Amazon Wireless Store.
