HP TouchPad makes a cameo at the SanDisk Computex booth.
The HP TouchPad is due for release this month. The first webOS tablet is supposed to go on sale at Walmart on June 12th. To get an idea how the HP TouchPad works before official reviewers get their hand on it watch the video below.

SanDisk, provider of the flash storage for the TouchPad, gave nice demos of the webOS UI at their Computex Booth. The UI of the TouchPad is very fluid and the floating card concept seems intuitive to use.
webOS has what it takes to compete with Apple. It is on HP to execute well. HP needs to establish a rich eco-system around webOS as soon as possible to have a fighting chance against Apple and Google. A shiny tablet UI is not enough.
