Apple has yesterday unveiled the details of iOS 5 along with the iCloud and OS X Lion. iOS 5 includes over 200 new features including notifications, Twitter integration, iMessage, Newsstand, Reminders and more. One rumored feature that has not been announced is the Nuance powered voice control.
TechCrunch posted an update on that rumor they have spear headed today. It looks like Apple has cut the voice recognition features at the last minute and is going to unveil them closer to the iOS 5 release in Fall. Either Apple ran into technical issues or the deal between Apple and Nuance is not finished yet.
It is still expected that iOS 5 will have advanced voice features powered by Nuance and Siri, a company Apple bought a while ago.
