Today I am checking out the RageGage that lets you take out some of your frustrations. This little round thing you can whack has a soft gel topper so you won't hurt your hand. Read on for all of the details on this little gag gift gadget.
The RageGage is a small round device that looks like a smoke alarm. The top has a gel pad you can smack. It has an internal rechargeable battery and it charges via USB. It has a number of sayings that it will spout each time you whack the RageGage pad.
The RageGage I was sent is the basic gray one with the diamond pattern on the top. The little device is a small circle that you can place on your desk to whack when you are feeling angry. Each time you whack the device it will say one of several little sayings. It has LEDs on the front and they will change from green, to yellow, to red, depending on how hard you smack the little button.
If you don’t like the voice that came on your device you can hop over to the RageGage site and download one of several other voices, they even have some choice Obama style clips you can put on the device. Since it has an internal battery, you can take it in your car to take out your road rage. I suspect if I had this thing in the car, my kids would whack it constantly and give me road rage.
The RageGage will also work as a single button game controller when connected to your PC via the USB cable. RageGage has several games you can download made just for the device that are very simple. That USB cable is very short so you will need an extension if you need to plug it into a computer beside your desk. The games do require RageGage connect, which is free. Coming this month the company will also offer a RageGage Generator that will let you make your own sounds and put them onto the device. There are a bunch of different RageGage designs and colors available for you to choose from, each of them costs $19.99 and will ship right now.
The RageGage is a cool little gag gift that kids will love and you can use to annoy your coworkers at will.
