Gadmei P83 8-inch glasses-free 3D Media Player

The Gadmei P83 3D PMP Player with its 8-inch glasses-free 3D Player shows that auto-stereo displays can be very affordable. Gadget shop Brando sells the Gadmei P83 for only $179.

Features of the Gadmei P83 include 8-inch 3D screen with 1,280x768px, 4GB storage, SDHC card slot (up to 32GB), 2D/3D vidoe and photo support, USB, and 4,000mhA battery. The 3D device supports AVI, TS, MOV, MP4, MKV and other video about 3D formats, live 3DM (3D video format) .

The best viewing distance for the 3D experience is 45-65cm. How well the Gadmei P83 3D display works compared to the Nintendo 3DS is not clear.
