AT&T announced today that they will be the exclusive U.S. mobile broadband provider for the “SonyTablet” S2 (codename), a dual screen, multi-functional tablet ideal for mobile communication and entertainment, that Sony Corporation plans to launch later this year.
With a qualifying data plan, users of the Sony Tablet S2 will have access to AT&T’s mobile broadband network and unlimited access to AT&T’s more than 20,000 hot spots nationwide. With both 4G and Wi-Fi, users can browse the Internet, access digital content including videos, games, and check e-mail, while on the go, nearly anytime.
AT&T says that the S2 is supporting 4G, but with two asterix. 4G means here AT&T's HSPA+ service and not the new LTE based service AT&T is in the process of rolling out.

The Sony S2 has a pair of 5.5-inch screens on it and folds for more portability. It reminds me of that little Vaionetbook from CES a few years back. Both of the tablets run Android 3.0. The tablet will both have WiFi and 3G/4G capability and the user will be able to surf the web and check email among other things.

NFL's Personal Conduct Policy Stiffened
The NFL stiffened its personal conduct policy -- which covers assault, battery and domestic violence -- on Aug. 28. The first offense is subject to a six-game suspension without pay. A second offense will result in a lifetime ban from the NFL.
The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
