The good news is that there will be soon a new LED LCD Display from Apple. Apple itself leaked images of the new display on the Apple Store according to MacRumors. The bad news is that the model number matches the one thought to be a new MacBook that leaked earlier this week. The leaked images show the new LED display along the Macbook Pro, Mac Pro and Mac mini. All of them look similar to the current available models.
This likely means that the new Mac Pro and Mac mini will not see a redesign when released wtih upgraded specifications.
There is no image that shows the new Thunderbolt LED Display connected to a MacBook Air or MacBook. Is maybe Apple not adding a Thunderbolt port to these series? I could understand it as the Thunderbolt cable alone is $50 and there not that many devices that can be used via the Thunderbolt port yet.
