Today I am checking out the cool id America case called the Gasket Brushed Aluminum Case. The Gasket case is perfect for anyone that is into cars as I am. Read on for all of the details on the Gasket case for the iPhone 4.
The Gasket Brushed Aluminum Case is made from real brushed aluminum and comes in several different colors. The case is available now for $29.99. The case is intended to look like the head gasket on an engine.
I am a big fan of cars and when I saw the Gasket Brushed Aluminum Case, I wanted to check it out. The case is designed to look like the head gasket on an engine from a car or truck. The case comes in silver, gold, bronze, titanium gray, and black colors. The case has only three ports that are supposed to look like the cylinders of an engine. All the little cut outs you see are what oil and coolant would flow through on a real gasket.
The case is made from brushed aluminum and has a soft felt inside that prevents scratches. The case includes a scratch protection film for the front and back of the smartphone. The scratch film for the back is important because the back of case is so open. The case leaves all the ports and controls of the iPhone 4 open and it looks like the case will fit the iPhone on Verizon or AT&T.
In addition to the protection films, the case also has a cleaning cloth to keep things shined up. The screen protection films are the sort that are stiff which means they can be removed and reapplied, but air bubbles are common. I finally gave up on getting all the bubbles out of mine after a while. I was able to get most of them out though they tended to stay on the edges of the screen.
This is one of those cases that sacrifice some protection for cool looks. I am sure it will provide some protection in the case you drop your phone, but it’s not going to be as protective as other deigns. This is a very cool case for car guys and gals though that most people will really like the looks of.
The Gasket Brushed Aluminum Case is very cool and looks awesome installed.
