The report refers to sources with knowledge of the situation say that the launch of the iPhone 5 is in September. Basically rendering all reports that carry a September launch date for the iPhone 5 as false.
We do not know how credible the source is, but October sounds as feasible as September as launch month for the iPhone 5. It could even be that Apple still has not settled on a firm launch date for the iPhone 5.
This will be the first fall launch for an iPhone making it difficult to predict. It is though the case that several of the rumors that mention a September launch for the iPhone 5 have at least some kind of evidence. There are vacation blocking reports, alleged statements of carrier executives and indicators from the supply chain.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
