Many believe that the Nokia N9 is the best Nokia phone to come from the troubled phone maker in a long time. The MeeGo running smartphone was unveiled in June. Only problem with the N9 is that Nokia is not fully behind MeeGo and bets all on Windows Phone OS. The N9 is rumored to be just produced in a limited numbers. Some even said it will not go on sale at all. Well, today Nokia revealed that at least Sweden will get the Nokia N9 in 48 days. Halebop and Three are listed as carrier choices for the Nokia N9.
For now no other country got a release countdown on the Nokia N9 microsite (via PocketNow).
he N9 has a touchscreen only design without the typical home button. The home key is replaced by a simple gesture: a swipe. Whenever you're in an application, swiping from the edge of the display takes you home. The body of the Nokia N9 is precision-machined from a single piece of polycarbonate and flows seamlessly into beautiful curved glass. The laminated deep black display means that the user interface just floats on the surface of the product. Other feature highlights of the Nokia N9 include 3.9-inch OLED screen, 8MP camera, turn-by-turn navigation, 16:9 video display, Dolby Digital Plus, NFC and 16GB/64GB storage.
