A new low priced iMac was rumored earlier today. Now Apple has already quietly launched the $999 iMac for Educational Institutions. The only disappointment is that this new Core i3 21.5-inch iMac is not for individual purchase and only for educational institutions. Apple just thinks this iMac is good enough for class rooms, but not for a kids room or dorm room.
The specifications of the new $999 iMac include 3.1Ghz Core i3 CPU, AMD Radeon HD 6750 GPU, 2GB RAM and 250GB HDD.
