Today Apple is the most valuable U.S. company. The market has closed and the market cap of Apple is $337.17 Billion. Exxon Mobile closed at a market cap of $330.77 billion. Most people expected Apple to reach that goal in Fall with all the cool things happening then. The iPhone 5 launch along with iOS 5 and the iCloud should get Apple Stock above $500. The crazy stock market reactions over the last days amidst fears of Armageddon have mixed things up. Apple was already above Exxon Mobile briefly yesterday. Exxon Mobile stock tanked more than Apple's stock today as the market got scared again.
Apple is actually predicted to become the first $1 Trillion company by Reuters.

Surprisingly, things have been relatively quiet on the Apple rumor front since before Google I/O. Usually, there would be a fairly steady stream of leaks from Apple after big announcements like what we saw from Google last week, but that hasn't happened. ...
