Apple Store starts to offer OS X Lion on an USB Stick for $69.
Apple is now offering OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive on the Apple Store for $69. We carried a rumor yesterday that Apple was about to launch this OS X Lion update on a storage drive this week.
OS X Lion introduces more than 250 new features to the Mac, including Multi-Touch gestures; system-wide support for full screenapps; Mission Control, an innovative view of everything running on your Mac; the Mac App Store, the best place to find and explore great software; Launchpad, a new home for all your apps; and a completely redesigned Mail app.
OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive ships in 1-3 business days. More details on the Apple Store.
Of course you still can just download OS X Lion from the App Store for $29.99. The OS X Lion USB Thumb Drive is mostly for users without broadband internet. Apple also warns that when you install OS X Lion using the USB thumb drive, you will not be able to reinstall OS X Lion from Lion Recovery. You will need to use the USB thumb drive to reinstall OS X Lion.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
