When I left the United States to move back to Germany over seven years ago (time really flies), Netflix was one of the most missed things back in the old world. Now finally there are signs that Netflix comes to Europe. Now of course the times have changed and there are several digital movie download and streaming services available to choose from in Germany. DVD by mail has also been done, but the Netflix expansion is anyway just related to digital delivery.
ScreenDaily (via AllThingsD) reports that Netflix plans to launch their service in January 2012.
Netflix launched its international expansion in Latin America. The company was receiving quite a customer backlash in the US last month, when they announced a new pricing structure. The DVD service is now as expensive as the streaming subscription. If you want both you actually have to pay double.
