The Apple Store is down for maintenance world-wide. We do actually not anticipate any new product release. So likely this is just a behind the scenes update. Maybe Apple has though technical issues. The "We'll be back soon" page is loading delayed for some reason.
In case Apple is indeed launching a new product today, it could be new Mac Pros. Apple has not updated the Mac Pro with Thunderbolt ports yet. At some point Apple will of course release new Mac Pro desktop computers. Every other Apple computer model has now a Thunderbolt port.
We will see what and if something is new in the Apple Store soon.
Update 1:
Apple Store is back online and adds Twitter and Facebook links on select product pages.
Update:
Best Buy in Mexico gives away a free Apple TV with qualified Mac purchase. This is strange timing and an unusual deal. I would not be surprised if Apple is offering the same deal on their store. Via 9to5Mac.
