As reported the Apple Store was down this morning. The Apple Store is back online and you actually have to search around quite a while to spot the difference. Readers over at MacRumors spotted new Facebook and Twitter links on the Mac Pro and iPod classic pages. The select button on these product pages has a pulldown option menu where you can select to share the model on Twitter or Facebook.
Apple is clearly just testing this new social feature integrations, else they would have rolled it out to all products in the store. This feature is great for kids to point their parents to the Apple gear they want for their birthday. This of course requires that they are actually using Facebook.
Try it for yourself on the Apple Store.
