The Nexus Prime is widely considered to be the first device that will launch with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Earlier rumors suggested the the Nexus Prime would launch on Black Friday. Now we see yet another rumor that puts the release of the Nexus Prime into October. Korean ETNews (via OLED-Display) reports that Samsung and Google are launching the Nexus Prime in October. The Nexus Prime would have a new 4.5-inch AMOLED display with HD resolution and run on a 1.5Ghz dual-core CPU.
The new display is supposed to feature a resolution of 1,280x720p.
We also expect the iPhone 5 to go on sale in October. It makes sense for Google to crash Apple's party.
