2012 Porsche 911 991 Photos leaked

The legendary Porsche 911 gets a redesign. The new 2012 Porsche 911 991 series is set to be one of the big highlights at the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt next month. If you cannot wait to see how the new Porsche 911 looks like the internet is at your service. Several glossy press photos of the 2012 Porsche 911 leaked on a site called SoloPorsche (via TopSpeed and CarScoop). The new Porsche 911 is longer and has some nice new details in the chassis. Additionally the new 911 is also supposed to be a lot more fuel economic.

I totally like what Porsche has done with the backside of the new 2012 911. The narrow rear lights look really mean. New on 991 model are also the door mounted side mirrors. The front seems only slightly altered and maintains the typical 911 look. Porsche is also expected to unveil a Cabrio and Turbo version of the new 911 at the IAA 2011.

The IAA 2011 opens its doors on September 15 in Frankfurt. The Porsche IAA 2011 press conference is scheduled for September 13 at 11:30am.
