3D movie theaters are now mainstream across the globe. There have been movie experience projects in the past that tried to add another dimension like smell or motion. Theaters with motion seats can be found in theme parks like Disney land. A movie theater in Bangkok takes 4D to blockbuster movies like Transformers and Captain America.
The 4Dx movie theater in Siam Paragon Cineplex of Bangkok opened just end of June. Beyond 3D, the 4Dx movie experience adds moving chairs (e.g.: D-Box Motion), scents, fog, bubbles, wind, wather and air sprays into face, neck and legs.
Travel blogger Jean-Luc Nguyen was at the 4Dx movie theater and published a nice video report about the experience. For now the U.S. does not have such a movie theater yet.
