Microsoft BUILD Keynote Streams Live at 9am PDT, Windows 8 Tablet unveiling?

BUILD is a new event that shows modern hardware and software developers how to take advantage of the future of Windows.

The new Microsoft Build Conference starts today in Anaheim. At 9am PDT (12 EDT) Steve Sinofsky is holding a keynote. Microsoft will video stream the Build keynote live. The Build conference will reveal more about Windows 8. Microsoft offered the first glimpse of Windows 8

Last week we carried rumors that Microsoft and Samsung will unveil the first Windows 8 tablet at the Build 2011 conference. I expect that Sinofsky will show off the first Windows 8 tablet in his keynote. The big surprise would be if Microsoft is against all odds releasing the Windows 8 tablet this fall. The Windows 8 general release is supposed to come somewhen late 2012.

Windows 8 promises to be a really cool Windows. Microsoft showed off little nuggets last week, like super fast boot times and Hyper-V virtualization support.

The Build keynote video stream will be available on the BuildWindows site.

Update 2:
Microsoft unveils new details about Windows 8 and releases Windows 8 Developer Preview.

Update 1:
Samsung Windows 8 Tablet leaks ahead of keynote. Developers get this tablet free with a Windows 8 developer release
