Early August HTC invested in Beats Electronics, known for the Dr Dre Audio gear. Today HTC unveiled the first phone with integrated Beats Audio technology. The HTC Sensation XE runs on a 1.5Ghz Dual-Core CPU and features a bigger battery for extended media playback.
The HTC Sensation XE comes with special headphones with control buttons. It remains to be seen if the high fidelity sound is really noticeable better compared to other smartphones. The unlocked price in Europe is 598 Euro (~$800) for the HTC Sensation XE.
The HTC Sensation XE will be available starting in October.
