Today is the Facebook F8 developer conference and Facebook is set to announce big new features. Facebook already announced and rolled out a couple new features this week ahead of the F8. There is now a News Feed and a Ticker on your Facebook profile page. Today we expect Facebook to unveil the long rumored music service. Earlier today a Facebook employee leaked a major feature about the new music service already according to TechCrunch. The Listen with your friend feature in ticker will allow you to listen in real-time to what you friend with your friend.
There are many more new features expected, but the biggest announcement seems to be around music. Possibly Facebook also will announce more content deals beyond music, in an attempt to bring the web inside Facebook. The goal is nothing less than world domination.
To watch the unveiling of the new Facebook features live you can tune in to the F8 Live webcast here. Starting at 9:30am Facebook is broadcasting keynotes, sessions and announcements live.
