The IAA 2011 has closed its doors yesterday. What we are left with now is to look at the highlights of the 64th IAA that drew close to a million visitors (928,000 to be exact). Once again electric cars took center stage. This year many new electric concept cars appear to be closer to becoming a reality than the years before. BMW for instance is rolling out the futuristic BMW i3 in 2013. The super expensive sports cars is though were the highlights for most IAA visitors. Porsche fans got to know the new Porsche 911 for instance.
