Specifications

The Monster iSport Headphones include several sizes of ear tips and ear hooks. They ship with a soft bag for accessories and storage. They are waterproof and have an inline remote control. You can buy them soon for $179.95.

In Use

I can tell you when you exercise with in-ear style earphone in your ears it can be very hard to keep them in place. Many earphones tend to fall out of your ear when running or walking fast and they can get uncomfortable as well. Today I am checking out the Monster iSport Headphones that are made specifically for athletes.

One of the coolest features is that the Monster iSport Headphones are waterproof and are 100% machine washable. That means you can toss them into your washing machine along with your workout clothes and clean them up. You obviously can’t dry them in the dryer though. The headphones have noise isolation and come with four different tips.

Rather than having an ear hook that wraps around the top of the ears as most do, the Monster iSport Headphones use an in ear hook that works well and is comfortable. The hook slips inside your ear passages to hold securely. It takes a bit of wiggling to get the headphones into your ears correctly, but once you do, they stay in place very well.

The Monster iSport Headphones have an inline mic and remote control for controlling your iPhone or iPod remotely. The remote has three buttons. The one on the tops and bottom are for volume up and down. The button in the middle pauses, plays, skips forward, and skips back depending on the number of presses made.

The sound is top notch on the Monster iSport Headphones. The bass is deep and sounds great and the vocals and mids are clear and easy to hear. The headphones are very comfortable, sound good, and fit securely for swimming or exercising.

Verdict

Pros

  • Great fit
  • Waterproof
  • Machine washable

Cons

  • Expensive

Conclusion

The Monster iSport Headphones are a great set of headphones that work well and will stay put with exertion.
