In Use

The Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad is a nice enough looking set of headphones with a mic that rotates out of the way when not needed. The headphones are comfortable to wear and have foam padded ear pads that sit on the ear. They pair to your device via Bluetooth and have up to 33 feet of range so you can roam and listen or talk.

The mic is designed to allow you to make FaceTime calls and chair using other VoIP applications. The mic does a good job of picking up your voice without lots of background interference. Logitech promises that the battery will last for up to six hours of use. Recharging is done via a USB cable. The flexible mic can be twisted to the position you need and rotated out of the way.

The right side of the Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad has a ring on the ear cup that controls volume on the headphones with a press. The headphones are designed to fold to take up less space when you are on the go.

Wearing the Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad for an extended time is comfortable. The pressure on the ears can be bothersome after a while, but the Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad is very light and it takes lots of wear before you get uncomfortable.

The sound quality is passable. You can tell that these are geared more to voice chatting than listening to music or movies. There is very little bass and overall the headphones are tuned more to vocals than anything else. You can clearly hear audio on any source from a good distance. If you need a headset for VoIP or FaceTime the Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad will make a great option. While the Bluetooth headphones will pair to just about any device, the mic may or may not work.

Verdict

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Expensive
  • No Bass

Conclusion

The Logitech Wireless Headset for iPad is geared to VoIP or FaceTime and will work for voice calls as well.
