Amazon is not only announcing a tablet today. Jeff Bezos just unveiled the new Kindle Touch. The Kindle touch has an Ir based touchscreen and looks pretty compact because the ugly keyboard is gone.
The Kindle Touch is only $99. A Kindle Touch 3G will also be offered selling for $149. The 3G service is free and works in 100 countries. The Pre-order for the Kindle Touch starts today and it ships November 21st (Thanksgiving Week).
A new $79 Kindle without touchscreen is also coming.
