It almost looks like Amazon is just a gadget maker like Apple. The top 12 bestselling products in the electronics company are all Kindle devices. What is really interesting is that the most expensive Kindle, the Kindle Fire is #1. If anybody has doubts that Amazon just announced the bestselling Tablet behind the iPad, this should change his mind. I predict that once the Kindle Fire is on the market (November 15) and the first market report from an analyst appears we see the Kindle Fire owning more of the Tablet market than all Android tablets combined.
The question is of course if analysts actually can get the Kindle Fire sales numbers. Amazon has so far not reveal how many Kindle eReaders they sold so far. Amazon always just talks about Kindle ebook sales records.
The #2 Kindle is the new low-cost $79 Kindle that is already shipping.
You can pre-order the Kindle Fire Tablet here for $199.
