We are just a few hours away from the Let's talk iPhone Apple media event. The Wall Street Journal just filed a short report saying that their sources confirmed that the new iPhone will not be LTE or WiMAX enabled. The new iPhone (iPhone 4S and/or iPhone 5) will run on 3G like the current iPhone 4.
Yesterday a wild rumor broke that Sprint would offer a iPhone 5 WiMAX exclusively. This report cancels that idea.
I never assumed that Apple will adopt 4G this year. 2012 will be the year that Apple has to adopt 4G for the iPhone. The coverage of 4G networks will be big enough.
The iPhone media event starts at 10am PDT. We have compiled the Top 10 Live Blogging Sites for you to follow the event.
