In two hours Apple's new CEO Tim Cook will unveil the new iPhone for 2011. We still do not know if it will be an iPhone 4S, an iPhone 5 or two new iPhones. The signs point to just an iPhone 4S release and a big focus on iPhone Assistant.

We are not live at the Apple media event, but will continuously pull in the latest rumors, news and analysis about the iPhone, iCloud and iOS 5. We will post the latest updates here in this story. To follow the Let's talk iPhone event use one of the top 10 live blogging sites we have compiled for you. As reported, Apple will not provide a live video feed of the iPhone event.

The Apple Store is down. This likely means there will be a new product on sale today.

10:18am PDT: 
Nothing big has happened yet. Tim Cook is setting the stage with market share numbers, which are of course always awesome.

10:30am PDT:
Apple said that iPod still important. That means new iPods coming. Also Apple has sold 250 million iOS devices so far and there have been 18 billion app downloads.

10:35am PDT:
Apple finally launches Newstand on the iPad and iPhone.

10:44am PDT:
iOS 5 release is on October 12.

10:50am PDT:
Apple unveils new iPod nano with Nike+ integrated and giant icons.

10:51am PDT:
Apple unveils new iPod touch

11:00am PDT:
iPhone 4S is official.
