Some German iPhone 4S customers already got their new iPhone 4S in the mail
The iPhone 4S goes on sale officially on October 14. The iPhone 4S pre-order launched on October 7. Now reports on Macerkopf (viaMacRumors) appear that the new iPhone 4S already shipped to some customers in Germany. This is even one day ahead of the iOS 5 launch. The iPhone 4S is of course shipping with iOS 5 pre-installed. Earlier we carried a report that the first benchmarks of the iPhone 4S already appeared as well.
Usually Apple tries everything to make sure the delivery of a new Apple gadget is on the release day and not earlier. The German Telekom and their delivery partners got things started early. They might have thought: "There is lot to do let's start now, else we never finish shipping all these iPhone 4S devices."
As reported yesterday, Apple has sold 1 million iPhone 4S in the first 24 hours of the pre-sale.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
