The iPhone 4S launch is basically done. Now Apple employees are already working on the next big product launch: the iPad 3. The Apple iPad 3 is widely expected to be released on Spring of 2012. According to AllThingsD, analyst Jeff Fidacaro sees indicators in the supply chain that Apple is starting to produce iPad 3 in Q4 of 2011.
It is of course very likely that Apple is launching the iPad 3 production by the end of this year to be able to launch in March 2012 time frame. The iPad 3 is predicted to have a higher resolution screen (Retina display with 4x the resolution) and is going to be thinner enabled by a new battery design.
