Earlier this month Samsung has asked courts in France and Italy to stop iPhone 4S sales. Now the Wall Street Journal reports that Samsung also filed preliminary injunctions to stop iPhone 4S sales in Australia and Japan.
So far only Apple succeeded to get sales bans on Samsung products like the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in some countries. Samsung tries to hit Apple where it currently would hurt the most. Foss Patents already reports that Samsung will not succeed in Australia with the iPhone 4S sales ban, but Japan is a big question mark.
At this point it might be wise for Japanese Apple fans who want the iPhone 4S, but did not buy it yet to do it soon.
