A new Asus Eee Transformer Android Tablet was already rumored back in August. Now Asus showed off the new Transformer with the quad-core Tegra 3 CPU aka Kal-El. The new Transformer Tablet is only 8.3mm thin and has a 10-inch display. Like the original Transformer tablet you can stick a keyboard on it and voila you have a laptop. Other revealed features include USB and mini-HDMI ports.

Asus will announce the new Transformer running Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 on November 9. At this time we will also learn when the new Asus Eee Transformer will ship and for what price. Via AllThingsD.

Expect prices to drop on the current Asus Eee Transformer tablet based on the Tegra 2 CPU. Right now Amazon sells the 16GB Asus Eee Pad Transformer for $391.73 without Keyboard. The Transformer Keyboard Dock is on sale for $111.99 on Amazon.
