Apple is expected to refresh the MacBook Pro line with new CPUs this fall. Last week evidence of spare parts and low inventory levels hinted towards an imminent launch of the new MacBook Pro with faster CPUs. 9to5Mac reports that their MR. X source said that prices will stay the same for the updated MacBook Pro line. Everything points to a release of the new MacBook Pro laptops next week. Most likely Apple will launch them on Tuesday, their favorite product launch week day.
What this rumor means is that you need to hold off on a planned MacBook Pro purchase until the refresh is on sale. You do not want to be stuck with an outdated MacBook Pro after owning it for a week.
